No Gym? No Excuse!
I am the master of excuses! I can come up with 100 reasons at the drop of a dime of why I can’t go to the gym. The best one thus far was “it’s raining” 0_o dumb, I know -_- but it was enough for me not to go.
Sad thing is the only person I’m lying to and hurting is myself. So I had to stop making excuses and find other ways to exercise without having leave my house!
Here is a list of exercises you can do from the comfort of your living room:
Break out those old-school Physical education moves from middle school (they kept you in shape way back when and can do the same for you now)
Start out with sets of these and as it becomes easier increase your sets; Sit- up’s, Crunches, Push-ups, Jog in Place, Jumping Jacks, V- ups, Squats, Stretching.
Find a workout routine that interests you: like Yoga, Kick boxing, Zumba, ect. try the workout dvd’s. You also may be able to find a lot of free workout videos just like these by doing a search on Youtube (you didn’t hear that from me 0_o)
If you enjoy freestyle dancing: make a playlist of an hour of your favorite songs and go crazy! Dance as much as you can, as hard as you can, with as much energy as you can, until you can’t dance anymore! Can you say cardio?
Figure out what your fitness goals are (lose weight, gain muscle, six pack abs, ect). This will help you figure out what you need to target and therefor which at home exercises are best for you.
There are a lot of efficient ways to exercise from the comfort of your own home, just be creative! Find something that interests you, and try it! Trying will burn more calories than thinking about it!
