Breast Cancer Support

Cancer is something that affects all of us in one way or another. From the people who have survived cancer, to the ones who were brave enough to at least fight it, they are all inspirational and motivational. Almost all of the people I’ve encountered who had breast cancer were happy even though they were going through things that are unimaginable. To say they are inspiring is really an understatement. Speaking to a survivor or someone who is fighting breast cancer makes any problems you are currently going through look miniscule.

I asked a woman with breast cancer if she could start life over again what she would’ve changed and her response was “I would’ve taken better care of myself, enjoyed life more and worried less”. This made me cry. Looking at the way I was living knowing I didn’t have cancer and wasn’t taking care of myself the way I should be. It also caused a spark in me to make some changes. Appreciate the little things in life which aren’t so little, such as your health.

Let’s take the time out to give back to these inspirational women and let them know they are not alone and that we not only want to support them, but we are going to support them!

Here are some ways you can help in the fight against breast cancer:

Buy Breast Cancer awareness products from places you already shop- here are some items that can be bought from stores where proceeds are going toward the cause:

http://www.eyeslipsface.com - is donating 100% of sales of their wild watermelon lip gloss to the breast cancer research foundation
http://www.sultra.comSultra is donating a portion of their proceeds from the sales of their “the bombshell pink” curling iron to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.

All of their products that support breast cancer will be displayed. Any stores you shop in (including grocery stores) ask them if they have anything available to support breast cancer awareness.
