I must be honest, I’m not a fan of celery. I do not like it with ranch, on a plane, or a train, no I do not like celery Sam I am. Seriously, you would probably have to double dare me to eat a piece. So I like to use a juicer and mix celery with apples and drink it. The taste of the apples completely masks the celery taste. Eating celery with tons of ranch defeats the purpose of eating celery. This is another example of being stupid healthy Stupid Healthy Since celery is so good for you, you must find a way to add it into your diet.

Approx. 19 calories in 1 cup of celery (don’t forget it’s a negative calorie food as well)

There is a high amount of vitamin c in celery. Which can help boost your immune system

Can lower blood pressure

Can lower cholesterol

Is said to help prevent cancer

Is a diuretic, which helps get rid of excess fluid in the body

Said to be an anti-inflammatory

Is very filling due to fiber content and can help curb appetite

Can help cravings for sweets

Can help prevent urinary tract infections

Is considered to be a natural laxative

If you enjoy the taste of celery, you should replace one of your unhealthy snacks with it. The awesome thing about doing that is, you can have as much as you like and actually burn calories while eating it. For those of you who can’t stand the taste, try using a juicer and mixing it with some of your favorite fruits. Add celery to your current diet, you won’t regret it!
