Personally I haven’t had an orange in years. I’ve always loved the way they taste, but for some reason I just haven’t bought any recently. When I go to the store to pick up fruit I usually get plums, pears, grapes, apples, etc. I’m about to start adding oranges to that list very soon. Especially since flu season is approaching and I tend to get very sick around this time. Here are some of the reason why you should add oranges to your diet.
Oranges:
Have the ability to make you feel fuller faster so you eat less
Contains less the 100 calories so it’s perfect for snacking
One orange provides the recommended daily dietary intake of vitamin C
Are beneficial to people with Asthma, Bronchitis, Tuberculosis, Pneumonia
Prevent kidney stones
Can Help lower cholesterol
Helps to prevent diabetes
Can help with High blood pressure
Helps keep your heart healthy
Can help with signs of aging
Boosts your immune system
Helps with constipation
Helps prevent certain types of cancer
Oranges can be used in many different ways. You can add them to your salad, fruit mixtures, juice, tea, and much more. If you like the taste of oranges, just experiment. Whenever you are sick, it is more beneficial for you to eat a couple of oranges, than it is to take most synthetic vitamin c capsules. Not sure if your vitamin C is synthetic?
