I absolutely love kiwi. Although I must be honest, I haven’t had an actual kiwi in years. I had a kiwi strawberry beverage recently, but that doesn’t count, does it? Anyway, I just had to find a few reasons why I should eat kiwis again. I wanted to add another fruit to my grocery list and after doing some research, I will add kiwi to the list as soon as I find a pen.

Health benefits of kiwi:

One kiwi has approximately 45 calories

Can help you burn fat

Will help you feel fuller longer

Helps with shortness of breath

Prevents muscles from being sore

Has fiber which prevents constipation

Can help prevent asthma

Contains vitamin k which helps strengthen bones

Helps boost your immune system

Can help with depression

Is great for preventing aging of the skin (wrinkles)

Assists your body in making melanin

Can help regulate your blood sugar levels

Helps with clotting of the blood

Can help enhance your sleep quality

Has a great source of vitamin C, A, and E

Before you decide to put kiwis in any of your meals, make sure you are not allergic to them. Foods that are flavored with kiwi taste absolutely delicious. Try adding some kiwi to your oatmeal, cereal, or salad. You can even eat them as a snack. The only problem is they are so small, so if you want to snack, I suggest adding kiwis to a fruit salad.
