Water does a body better!
Me personally I’ve never been a fan of water. I always felt the need to taste some sort of flavor with anything I would drink (juice, soda, ect.) until I found out about all of the benefits of water. First of all there are no calories in water (duh). Water is also a natural appetite suppressant; it reduces hunger therefor causing you to eat less. It helps flush out your system which helps your body function better. When your body is functioning better you will see a difference in your workout performance and stamina.
Drink Cold water, I repeat COLD water! By drinking cold water your body has to use calories in order to regulate your body temperature. This will give you more energy and provide fuel for your muscles. Water increases your metabolism which helps you to burn calories faster thus losing weight faster.
There are many options available as far as different types of water you can drink. There is Vitamin water, tap water, bottled water, filtered water, the list goes on. Me personally I prefer filtered water because I enjoy the crisp clean taste (sounds like a commercial). I will drink tap or fountain water if I run out of my water at the gym. Yes the taste is different, but the benefits are the same. If you’re not a fan of water, I say try different brands of water until you find one that is bearable. Then drink it until you love it! You’ll be happy you did!
Another awesome thing about water is there is never a wrong time to drink it! Late at night, early in the morning, or afternoon it’s all good! Water is an awesome thing to replace snacks with. Whenever you feel the need to grab a snack have some ice cold water, it well help you break the habit of eating out of boredom.
I can’t stress this enough, drink lots of Cold Water! The colder the better and as often as possible! If you do this you will not only see a difference in the way that you feel but the way you look as well! Your skin will be clearer and feel moisturized, your body will feel better, and your mind will even function better! You have no clue what sugar and sugary drinks do to your body, but you will in tomorrow’s post! See you then!
