Most horrible diseases come from people not doing things in moderation. I personally believe you can do anything you want to do. As long as you are in complete control and you are able to do that specific thing in moderation. You also have to accept responsibility for whatever it is you want to do and prepare for the consequences.
If you are trying to lose weight, but it’s you friend’s birthday party and you really want to go and have some drinks. Drink in moderation, and choose drinks that have the least amount of calories. Add up the calories at the end of the night and accept responsibility for what you have done. The consequences are, you now have to work hard not only burn off those calories, but to do your regular workout as well.
So if it’s worth it, go for it! Whatever you decide to do make sure you can stay in control, accept responsibility, and handle the consequences. If you can do all of these things then do what it is you want to do, but do it in moderation.
